Pruning Roses

Hi peeps a few months ago i brought this David Austin Strawberry Hill climbing rose to train up the side of my window on the house. I'm new with roses but i've started to tie some of the canes to the trellis but would you cut the ones leaning away from the wall in the picture below.

    I would attach horizontal, tensioned wires at 30cm intervals to that fence and train those shoots along them to cover the fence.   However that would mean having to be extra vigilant with feeding and watering to support all the growth form that pot.
