Well - get you, Mr Smart A*se, Smuggy McSmug Pants  :D
It's always a good feeling when you can sort something yourself isn't it? Wonder what you'd have been charged if you'd got someone in to fix it!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Well done Hosta.

    Have a lovely holiday Flumpy.

Did HW this morning then went went to buy corrugated roofing felt for horses' winter shelter. Went to tea with friends in the village. Yummy chocolate and beetroot cake but she'd left some silver foil from the chocolate and it made my teeth go funny.

Then I harvested three wooden boxes of apples, 2 boxes of onions and 6 orange peppers. The orange peppers are lovely, juicy and sweet. Now cut up in a big bag in the freezer. We had them stuffed with chicken curry a few days ago.

We are off to our cottage in Norfolk again, via Dieppe/Newhaven next week. Will stop off at OH's daughter in Eastbourne. Really annoyed with Vodafone. They were supposed to get our phone and Internet running on the 13th, will be 3 weeks after moving house, but now they say it will be the end of the month when we aren't there. So no communication yet again. Didn't take long when we bought the first cottage nearly 3 years ago.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I seem to be doing double posts lately. Not sure how I do it, but hello everyone. Will try to read back later. We’re off out the back to cut more firewood.😡. You’d think it’d be past that time now, but still cold enough to have the fire going in the lounge room.

Yes you’re right Dove. I’m worn out now after loading logs. I’m really hoping we might get some fruit from the Plumcot this summer. I’ll becwatchinf those pesky birds.😳

    Morning all.
I had a really good sleep last night.  Digging around 3 tons of compost into the trailer and digging it back out and raking it might have helped.

Morning  Hosta. That’s good, that you had a long sleep for a change. Maybe I’ll have a better one as well tonight after loading wood this afternoon.
