That's a grand bit of kit David  :)
Did the dog mind you nicking it's dinner for the handle?  :D

I bought a pair of Jakoti hand shears after I saw Monty using them a few years back for lavender. They are brilliant but only come out once a year!

I bought a trowel with a 3' long handle for trowelling things at a distance. It's now only got a 2' handle after my wife tried to use it as a spade several times. Eventually it will end up as just a normal length trowel or will reach a length that doesn't give her sufficient leverage to break the wood. I'm even considering making a giant pencil sharpener to re-taper the end to fit the handle when she snaps it off again.

Buy her a light spade. Don't be a meanie.  And don't dare buy it for birthday or Christmas!
    In London. Keen but lazy.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't push it in.

  • @Fairygirl: To be quite candid; the bone had been 'used' by my last dog (25+ years ago), so I thought it appropriate to 'recycle' it for use near where she was laid to rest...?

  • The ARS are my go to pruner for most light trimming and pruning...sometimes even use it to get weeds out  of concrete edges or cut their roots off underground.  Multi purposeful.  love them.
