Changing the colour of Decking Oil

Sometime ago I purchased several 5 ltr tins of Wickes 'Pine' Decking Oil at a good price.
I used it for my boxes around the garden and fence which I find very good.
Now I want to change the colour of the boxes and fence to a 'Chestnut' type of colour with the few tins I have left.

Any clues of how or what I can use to change the colour.

    If Chestnut is darker than Pine it shouldn't be a major problem although it may take an extra coat or two to get consistent colour.

    Hi TerrysW - I'd guess if you can buy the oil in different colours, you could buy a tin in  a dark colour, and mix it with the ones you have. I've done that with the woodstains, so I expect it would work with the oils too.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    For me it pays to just use a clear oil or preservative. Once you go with colour, you are more of less stuck with always having to colour it. Like masonry paint.

    Sorry it was Screwfix Decking Oil and they only have 4 colours. Clear, Pine, Oak and Cedar.
    Which are not really dark enough.

    Ah - tricky.  Can you contact them, or a similar supplier, and see if there's a stain you could add to darken it?
    Or buy a different make [Ronseal, Sadolin, Cuprinol etc ]  in a darker colour to add. I'd expect all the makes of oil would be similar enough that you could mix them with the one you have.

    Buy a tube of oil based artists' paint in a suitable brown colour and blend it into your oil.
    That should work.
