Caterpillar Identity

Hi All,

Does anyone know what type of caterpillar this is?
He is currently happy stripping my David Austin of its new leaves lol! Think I’m going to have to find him a new home but he is rather hairy, and know some of them irritate?

    Maybe a knot grass caterpillar? Can you ask him to stretch out a bit for a clearer pic :)

    After a quick google, yes he is definitely a knot grass caterpillar! I think I may need to relocate him as he has stripped one full stem already! Thanks wild edges 😃
