I have to say, Honorine Jobert was far more aggressive over the pink forms. Also, they don't tend to spread so much as a clump, but have a habit of forming a runner to somewhere else that is usually not an ideal spot.
Not sure how long you have had yours Lindatonkinson. They can take up to three years to finally settle in. But as others have mentioned, they need some shade, so not in full sun for more than 4-5 hours at this time of year.
I have some, in a very shaded spot. They are really flowery at the moment, and have even spread and come up through the spaces in the paving stones. But yes, not that much sun where they are growing.
The thing I just can't fathom out is I have had these plants for over 20 years, originally from parents garden where they used to really thrive to the extent that my dad used to say 'they are taking over' having to thin them out every year, but not mine - have stayed in the same little clump all this time 🤔
Ditto mine. Had a plant (pink) that I got donkeys years ago. Planted semi shady. Lucky if I get a couple of flowers from it every year. Can't be bothered to molly coddle it so it just has to get on with it. Have planted shrubs all around it this year so may never see it again! Am I bovvered?

I have Whirlwind Hosta. Little bit shorter than HJ, and semi double flowers. Very nice. ... Perhaps you could relocate some Linda, and see if it makes a difference. Nice moisture retentive soil and a bit of shade, and see if it helps.
