Strawberry Sweet Colossus'

Hello,
just looking through strawberry varieties to choose for my new strawberry bed and came upon a variety called Sweet Colossus' (Giant Strawberries)
just out of interest has anyone had a go at growing this variety and if so how did you get on?
i may take a punt on some, i don't imagine the flavour would be up to much however i have two young children and i can imagine there faces picking giant straws.
