What is causing edges of leaves to turn brown?

This is an Avacado started from a stone early this year.

The young leaves are mostly ok, but not the large leaves. As can be seen in the photo the edges are going brown. I don`t know why. Anyone know?

    Looks like a bit of interveinal chlorosis so short on manganese or magnesium.  The young leaves look fine so not iron deficiency.  Spraying with dilute epsom salts will help with lack of magnesium but you may be best to get a ready-made 'foliar feed' which contains all trace nutrients.  Seaweed feed is often recommended.  In the longer term, it would probably benefit from re-potting into fresh compost so it can get what it needs through the roots.
