What plant is this please and are they edible?

  Passion flower.  If it's passiflora edulis the fruits are edible.  If it's passiflora caerulea the fruit can be eaten when ripe but under ripe may cause stomach upsets.

  Not edulis then.   I love the flavour of those and had just been talking to OH about getting one or two now I live in warmer climes.

  The little red ones are honeysuckle berries, I'd not try those either.

  Thanks, I know what they are that's in my garden, the other plant has grown over the fence, beautiful flower but the fruit's horrible

  if it ( passion flower ) gets its own way, it'll move into your garden and take over.
