I am looking to plant a Privet hedge from cuttings but am not sure if I should try it now in August/September or wait until November/Winter-time. What would be best?
Hi Sam - are the cutting in pots, and what sort of size are they? I'd think you could plant now as long as they're a decent size and have a good root system, and as long as your site is suitable and well prepped. It's pretty tough stuff
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks Fairygirl! I haven't even cut them yet- i was waiting to see what to do first. A lot of advice says to wait until november and i don't want to waste the cuttings. Though i am not very patient lol
