Cordyline (?) Doing funny things...

Hi, I'm just after an idea of what is going on with my Cordyline (?) - just happened over the last few weeks.  Is it a form of leaf curl?

Many thanks in advance

It's just keeping itself tidy for you Mike  ;)
Not a flower spike, unless the foliage has wrapped itself around it. The flower spikes are quite distinctive.
Very odd - not something I've ever seen. Perhaps weather related in some way.
I'm sure someone will have the answer  :)

Is it just this year's new leaves that are twisted round each other at the tips, or had they been fully open before?  I'm wondering if those leaves dried up and stuck together at the tips due to weather (either the cold spring or the heat) but carried on growing and separating lower down?

  • Love to reopen an old discussion. This has happened (see image) and has never happened before. So... what the heck is it?
