Delphinium plug plants

hi i when would be the best month to buy delphiniums plugs,i have a small plastic green house were I can put them ,would they be ok in that over the winter months I live in the uk South Wales ,And could I plant delphinium seed now in the greenhouse thank you so much any help would be appreciated

    I would buy young delphinium plants in 7 cm pots in March. Then pot on a couple of times into larger pots. Plant out in May. Protect from slugs.
    If you want to sow seed, also sow in March. That will give you larger plants to overwinter, and flower the following year.

    Delphiniums are easy to grow from seed too. One packet and you can get a hundred or more plants, you can collect seeds free now too.
