Can anyone ID these for me please? Thank you.

And a rather large spider on my cosmos. Haven’t seen one of them before.

Garden spider (Araneus diadematus) The females are larger than the males.
Second shrub could be a Forsythia shrub.
Euonymus.......one with small leaves and a yellow variegation...such as Euonymus japonicus microphylla aureovariegatus.

2.
Opposite leaves, red twigs, small whitish flowers in late winter..
Suggests a shrubby winter flowering Honeysuckle.
Maybe one such as Lonicera purpusii.

It is definitely not Salix caprea as this has alternate leaves.

Equally Forsythia can be ruled out...the bark is very different in Forsythia.

The second shrub has opposite leaves in threes as well as twos. It might be better to wait until it blooms again.
