    Thank you all for your comments and pictures. I will leave mine for now and see if anything happens.
    When is the best time to cut down the leaves? Are they left, like daffodil leaves until they yellow, before cutting down? (As I said, I'm new to growing gladioli).

    Hello again,
    well, I never got any flowers from my gladioli this year, just lots of leaves. I’m hoping they will perform better next Summer.
    As I said, I’m new to growing them, so I have a question regarding the leaves. Should I cut them down or leave them to die back naturally? At the moment, they are still very green looking on the whole, (just a few of the leaves are yellowing).

    The leaves are the food factory of any plant.  Cut them off your glads and you won't have energy in the corm for next year's flowers.
