Grasses

I am about to move to North Somerset to a small garden can anyone suggest some grasses that won’t be a problem with runners etc.

    I grow several grasses and whilst the clumps expand I've not come across any runners from any of them. Some like Stipa tenuissima self-seed freely.
    To get some ideas, it would help if you let us know how much sun the area gets - almost all grasses need a sunny position. Do you know what the soil is like?
    Do you want 6" grasses or 6ft grasses?
