Hypericum Hidcote

Hi, I cut my (old)hypericum hidcote down to the ground early spring and its now 3/4ft and flowering. I want to keep it at this height if possible and it is quite open as well which I like so i'm asking for advice on how best to keep it contained and open if possible.

    Do as you did before in the spring or cut back to 6 inches from the ground.

    I chop mine back to stumps and back it comes happy as Larry.
