Can anyone help to identify this plant please?

I have this pant growing in my garden......it has remained this healthy looking throughout the very hot dry weather. It does not have aromatic leaves and has not flowered. It is about 30cms tall and about the same across. I do not remember having planted it myself ! It is outgrowing the space it is in but I don't want to kill it by moving it at the wrong time !

Hi @Superrad49, I'm not good with flowers so this is just a suggestion! It looks like Michaelmas Daisy to me, flowers next month I think  :)

Looks similar to a form of Aster alpinus .

It looks a bit like a Christmas Box.

If it is the flowers appear as you would expect around Christmas and are very fragrant

  • Thanks everyone for your suggestions.....I think I'll just wait a little longer to see if it flowers !
