you can just scrape them off - its just the fruiting bodies (think apples - removing them does no damage to the tree) the rest of the 'plant' is under the ground and probably spreads a good distance from where its fruiting
It'll disappear within a few days ... it's breaking down the organic matter in your soil and making it available to your plants' roots. I'd just leave it alone ... it's part of the way nature works, particularly at this time of year and a perfectly normal thing to have in a garden.
