Bouleversee

I have discovered several self-seeded cucumber plants in my herbaceous borders.  Is there any chance of getting any fruit off them this year (in flower at the moment) and if so, can I transplant them to my veg. patch?

I've never grown cucumbers, but I would have thought that moving them at this stage would jeopardise any chance of fruit.
Could you leave them where they are and give them a tepee to grow up?
  • Not really.  They are in borders as you enter the drive and very close to other plants.  Perhaps I should just discard them or move a couple and hope for the best.

Seems you’ve made up your mind anyway, so go for it. You didn’t buy them so won’t matter if they die.
