Rhubarb in container query

Morning all!, 
Quick question... I've grown some rhubarb from seed (they are better than the rhubarb I bought!!) We will probably be moving house again in spring next year and renting the current house out. So I want to take my rhubarb plants with me. 
Would those soft plastic tubtrugs with the handles be OK? I would put holes in the bottom for drainage. Just thinking that will be easy to transport later on.

    Thanks @scroggin. I only want them in containers for transporting. Like you said they do much better in the ground. I've got 5 plants I've grown from seed that I want to take with me.

    Please may I bunk in on your thread?  I've been told that fresh manure is best for rhubarb. Is this right and when is the best time to apply? TIA

    They do well in manured ground but fresh is not usually recommended. Do you somewhere you can stack it for at least 6 months?

    I grew 30 plants from seeds in Spring 18, from which I have 20+ large specimens in large pots.  I have been regularly taking stalks from them all.  Have I diminished the plants chances of a long and fruitful life by taking from them in their 1st year?

    @Lizzie27 My OH was a farrier so we know people ;).  I could probably find some in most stages of maturity since the last ice age.  :D
