Kilmarnock Willow - Wasps

KeenOnGreenKeenOnGreen Posts: 1,831
One of our Kilmarnock Willows is attracting lots of wasps.  I cannot see any sap or aphids. Only one of two trees has this problem.  Wouldn’t kill them, but due to the location of the tree, I would like to deter them.  Are there any wasp friendly solutions?

This is quite an oldish thread with no response. @KeenOnGreen may now have an answer 😕

Wasps are beneficial insects as they feed aphids and other pests to their young so it's great that you don't want to kill them.

Try enticing them elsewhere with some sugary water or a solution of sticky, sweet jam in a shallow dish of water where they can drink but not drown.
