Hydrangea

Due to the hot weather this is what has happened to my hydrangea. Any advice would be great full

    Water.  5 to 10 litres at a time every evening for a few days and then every 2 to 3 days till you get some decent rain.
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    I would leave the dead flowers untl next April and then cut them off. It's not a disaster as the Hydrangea you have will flower on next years non flowering growth.

    However, you must water it as much as you can now as it will go brittle and die if it dehydrates. Winter should take care of it, but if dry weather comes water it and it will thank you for it and flower well next year.

    I never cut the flowers off til spring anyway so thanks I will give it a good soaking.

    Is it still in a pot, it’s a huge plant and needs to be in the ground, perhaps it is?

    Outs is exactly the same, usually has a mass of lovelly big pink flowers, I had been watering it, didnt seem to help, but we have had some decent showers on and off now the past week.

    Lyn it is in the ground. My aunt use to have them and I love them but so sad to see it like this.
