Jasmine not flowering this year

can anyone help. I have a jasmine, little yellow flowers and beautiful fragrance. It has flowered for at least past 5 years. I cut it back last year because it was really out of control. But this year not a flower and doesn't look like it is going to flower. The foliage is healthy. Will it come back next year ? And again it is crazy and needs cutting back. What should I do?

    It sounds as if you may have pruned it at the wrong time of the year........someone with more experience should be along later to give advice
