Is this a delphinium seedling?

Is this a delphinium seedling?  Only one germinated out of the whole packet sown several weeks ago.
Can someone tell me what the weeds are?.........

The weeds are willow herb. Sorry @Mary370 I'm not much use on 'proper' seedlings. I only do weeds here.  :/

Thanks @plant pauper I always let everything grow in the seed tray, just in case they're the actual plant I expect.  The willow herb seems to be everywhere!

It’s definitely a Delphinium, there a single baby for you to cherish.

Well that's just great!  I have managed to get 1 seedling out of the packet...........how does that happen?  It's only about my 4th year trying to grow them......one is better than none I suppose

Don't ask me. You're talking to the person who plants cornflower seeds and gets willow herb! Same with bluebells...  :(

Ohh it's good to know I'm not alone in my effort to get beautiful blooms  :p
I sometimes wonder if I've been sent willow herb instead of flower seeds!
I've ordered some English bluebell corms(?) this year.........looking forward to growing some........fingers crossed and all that.
I was given a tip by a horticulturist.......grow small bulbs/corms in pots then transplant into the garden.  This is my first year trying a variety of bulbs and corms........not being a fan of yellow has meant I don't get early flowers, so I've bit the bullet this year and ordered some not so yellow daffodils

My earliest flowers are Pulmonaria. They wouldn't be a favourite but the bees need early flowers so I keep them. My Red campion started flowering in April, though I'm told that's early, and it's still flowering now. I find neglecting it in a pot has worked a treat. Everything in my garden was late this year.

I've just planted out some pulmonaria today, the unspotted ones........looking forward to seeing them flower next year...........I like them.  I had fabulous wallflowers in April this year, that's the earliest I've managed to get flowers in the garden, it was purely accidental as I had expected them to flower last Autumn not Spring!..........best laid plans and all that!   I'm trying to get something to flower in the garden every month of the year.  Everything has been late here this year too........
