I'm in agreement Solanum Jasminoides will be ideal, and a great alternative to Jasminum Officinale in a warm area, but be prepared for controlling it if you have very free draining soil.
If you don't mind the initial wall training of Coronilla Valentina Subsp Glauca 'Citrina', sometimes called Bastard Senna. It can look very nice with small leaves and most likely be almost evergreen if it's not in an exposed area. Can flower right the way from early spring though to summer where it will continue to flower sporadically. It's unlikely to cover the wall to the top floor but could reach 6-7 feet. I think a nice elegant wall shrub that would work nicely against the colour of your brick wall.
Here's another vote for Jasminum Officinale. Can take being hacked back when necessary and when it flowers the scent fills the air during the evening. I can't rate it highly enough.
