hi, can anyone ID this for me please? Flower looks a bit like some sort of convolvulus.

    Looks like it may be a godetia

    Can't see it very clearly, but it looks to me like a godetia  aka Clarkia amoena

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Just looked that up and I think you’re right. It’s in a patch where I scattered annual seeds but they didn’t include godetia so it found its own way there. Many thanks!

    Sometimes known just as Clarkia ... was that in the mix?

    Not listed but it says ‘including’ starflowers, cornflower, dill, marigold and lace phacelia so I suppose that doesn’t necessarily mean there aren’t other things. It’s supposed to be a mixture of bee-attracting flowers.
