Angel trumpet accident

help please !   A Temporary gazebo  blew over and landed on a large branch of my  beautiful angel trumpet  today.   Can anyone  tell me if I could  take cuttings from the snapped branch.   ?  😔

    You can put unflowered shoots, a foot long and a bit thicker than a pencil, in a pot of water in the windowsill. and they will root.
