Moving raspberry canes

I have to move my raspberry canes in the next month due to building work that is due to start in September. Would I be wasting my time to try to relocate them?

    I have moved raspberry canes in the past, after fruiting and pruning, came back well.

    Agree with Cornelly......its easy

    Dont forget that the roots go sideways and not very deep to decide how far apart they need to go so they have enough width to flourish

    Then you need to try to understand Summer or Autumn fruiting that still baffles me 
    Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

    These are raspberry's that came with the house so I don't actually know if they are summer or autumn, they started fruiting in June and last year finished ion November. However they all got chopped to the ground in December so I am assuming Autumn lol.
