Hi all,
This "weed" has been growing alongside a potted laurel and I've kept it for ID purposes. I do not recall having seen it before, either in my garden or in the countryside in the vicinity. For scale, the pot is about 22 cm in diameter.

I wish I knew Papi Jo but there are some very knowledgeable people on these boards. I've got a book on wildflowers of Britain and northern Europe so will have a look tonight when I go to bed.

@ju1i3 Most likely correct ID, thanks! That was quick.

Latin Name Lepidium didymum (accepted correct name since 24/05/2016).

An interesting plant from the point of view of taxonomy, it has almost 20 synonyms: ;)
    Carara didyma (L.) Britton
    Coronopus didymus (L.) Sm.
    Senebiera didyma (L.) Pers.
    Senebiera pinnatifida DC.
    Crucifera pinnatifida (DC.) E.H.L.Krause
    Biscutella apetala Walter
    Cochlearia humifusa Michx.
    Coronopus incisus Hornem.
    Coronopus pinnatifidus Dulac
    Coronopus pinnatus Hornem.
    Crucifera senebiera E.H.L.Krause
    Lepidium americanum Vell.
    Lepidium anglicum Huds.
    Lepidium bonariense sensu Mill.
    Lepidium prostratum Savi
    Nasturtiolum castratum Medik.
    Senebiera incisa Willd.
    Senebiera supina Thore

They say it's edible but I'm not really interested.

I'm glad I did not uproot it immediately I spotted it in that pot. Now I can add it to my local flora collection, both in my classical herbarium and my online flora.
