Evening all. Thanks for the interest. The flowers were tiny and seem to have all gone now that it has put out the berries. I’m not sure if this came in in some new composte or whether it may have been deposited by one of my resident blue tits (they seem to have adopted my terrace this year and since then all sorts of surprises have been coming up amongst my other plants!). For now it’s not doing any harm I was more worried in case it was another dangerous plant either for the cats or kids who come to visit.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
Following your suggestions I’ve had a look at the solanacea and the flowers look right I guess we will just wait to see what colour the berries turn. Also this is definitely more « bush » than « vine ».
