Last year 78 caterpillars arrived on my Brussels on 8th August which I picked off and disposed of. There was huge cabbage white activity in the brassica cage a couple of weeks ago so I’m awaiting this year’s batch with bated breath! My question is in view of the publicity about encouraging butterflies etc, should I remove these caterpillars away from the brassicas but allow them to live?
