Hollyhock and Penstemon

I am really disappointed,I sowed a free packet of Hollyhocks,supposed to be deep red,and they are white(look like Granny pop out of beds) then my free Penstemons ,which said mixed,have all come up as Garnets,every single one! I'm not going to bother with the temptation of free seeds attached to magazines again, it's a con!
