I have placed two large plastic bowls that usually fit under 12 inch wide pots filled with water on the lawn far enough away from the hedges....cats !! I've just found a rather glorious second-hand porcelain hand basin (being thrown out locally) that will make a splendiferous birdbath. I'll sink it and see what happens. Hurrah!
