    They propagate so easily though, don't they? I might try and get one of the whites again. Brilliant at this time of year for bees too.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    They do for the most part but some can be a bit stubborn. I had a nice big autumn joy in a pot and the rootball got munched by vine weevil grubs. I stuck all the stems into small pots and they all took and I'm now overrun with them. I also have a purple variety with cream flowers though and that really doesn't have the same vigour.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    I had a smaller one with nice dark flowers and foliage too - vine weevil annihilated it. I think that's where my weevil infestation  came from unfortunately. They're not usually too big an issue here, but they've been a b***er this year. 
    Pots are always trickier with them. I've got a sea of Autumn Joy in the front garden - in conditions it shouldn't really like , but it's looking splendid at the moment, and about to come into flower.
