Are you annoyed?

Is anyone else annoyed, that a perfectly friendly thread on euthanasia has been manipulated, so that even when new postings are made, it does not get bumped up, but languishes on Page 3.

    I'd noticed that too.
Is it a glitch, or something more " organised"?

I noticed something similar on a thread about Monty Don (in which l thanked you @punkdoc ) , even though people posted after me, the time of the "latest post" didn't change, and it moved further down the pages. Anything to do with the Korean/ Chinese/ Japanese takeover?  B)

It has happened before, with a tread that may have been regarded as controversial.
If people are behaving badly, then I agree that threads should be closed, or removed, but this thread is being conducted very calmly and I think the results are very interesting.
Sadly, I think it is some form of censorship.

Ditto your MD thread which was allowed to become buried.

One of mine was closed but I wasn't too bothered as it was dying a natural death anyway.
Yes ,I think it's wrong to manipulate thread placing.
I had a look at the euthanasia thread when somebody mentioned it. I could see nothing offensive about it.

Maybe one of the IT Team can explain what is causing the issue?

It looks like this thread is doing the same?

Maybe there have been objections direct to the Mods?

Difficult row to hoe, keeping an eye on something with potential to offend some sensitivities, especially when presumably trying to sort out something re the Spam and the Privacy Settings box blip and it's just before the weekend ................  :/

I've got the thread Bookmarked so I can find it easily.

It's sticking at the date it was originally posted, so it may be a glitch.

But on the other hand, this one is sticking at the time of lantana's first reply

    IMHO
Surely "objections" shouldn't dictate such things, only if those "objections" are found to be justified.
If a thread is being conducted in a mature and mannerly way, then I'd say it should be allowed to continue.
Those who "object" can ignore it.
Surely the role of Moderators is to take an overview and react accordingly, irrespective of subject matter?
    Just my thoughts.
