Plant ideas for shaded planter
Morning all.
A work colleague has come to me this morning for advice so I thought I'd throw it out to you good people on here.
He has a couple of small triangular planters either side of his front door (North facing) which get approx an hour's sun early on. He's after low maintenance plants he can just leave in but which will also provide colour as well.
So the brief is - small, shade loving, colourful & low maintenance!!!
Any ideas gratefully received as my initial thoughts all seem to involve ivy, bigger plants or bulbs!!!
Darren.

I initially thought hosta but these planters are that small even the smallest would soon outgrow it. Same with Heuchera. I reckon the variegated Euonymous with hardy Fuschia is the way forward. Unless I can persuade him to go with the annuals...
