Yucca crown rot

Any way of saving my yucca. I suspect over head spinkler has resulted in crown rot.
Could dig it up and relocate as it was only planted 6 weeks ago. Thanks

Cut the crown off, back to healthy stem.  If it is going to survive, it will throw up sideshoots, possibly from below ground.  You can either select the strongest and remove the others or leave it to become multi-stemmed (which it will eventually do by itself.)
If the stem is mushy alll the way down then it's probably a gonner.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Good idea. Will do that and remove it from the area covered by the spinker.

They love the sun and need good drainage, so try and give it those if you can.  Fingers crossed!
