tomato growers are your tomatoes producing as normal, mine have loads of flowers but fruit is sparse .grown in the greenhouse they have now reached the roof , should i cut them down by half ? Or maybe I should transfer to outside.?

Maybe they are just a bit late, flowers should mean fruit. Cut them off when they reach the roof, I think it's usual to leave 5 trusses. Don't move them at this stage, it will probably kill them. Use tomato food, nothing high in nitrogen as that will make them just grow leaves.

Are you hand pollinating, if not get a child's paintbrush and set to (dusting) the flowers you will know in a few days if it's working.😁

I had trouble one year in a greenhouse with flowers but no fruit, I then found out that too much heat can fry the pollen so, leave the door open, water the floor - of course let the bees in too

Thank you , By what you have all said it is definitely the heat.

Everything else is being done .it is a sunken greenhouse , the idea being so that there is always two inch of water . Until this year it has been ideal for melons etc.
But it only has a small window,which is left open.
large melons are grown in this one.
cucs in abundance too.

I wonder if I put up a net on the outside if this will help keep the heat down. I've never put any shading up in here same as I have in the others.

Sorry, gran, should have said ‘not completely’covered it.
I have a lovely lot of tomatoes coming on, never had any of the usual diseases and they’ve been grown in the GH soil beds for 30 years.
