    Does anyone know what this is please? I suspect it’s a weed but giving it the benefit of the doubt for the tome being. Tia

    Could be Physostegia virginiana (obedient plant).

    It would be easier to make sure if it was flowering. Anyway, here are some pics of my own Physostegia virginiana ‘Bouquet rose’ taken just now. I planted 3 small plugs last year and now they cover a good 3 m² together. Incredible growth (and lovely flowers IMHO).

    Thank you Papi Jo.  I shall watch with interest to see it blossom.  I don't remember planting it 😱 But as it was a complete new border, perhaps it's understandable for a wrinkly 😊
