Bay Tree

:)  Hi, I thought I'd lost my bay tree after the snow but it came back better than before but now the leaves are getting brown spots. I have checked for pests, can't find any, so I'm guessing it's a disease. Can anybody help me? Thanks Carol

Any chance of a photo of an affected leaf and the whole plant, Carol?

It looks like something was nibbling when the leaves were young and soft.

I agree, could have been a sap-sucker when it was young.  The vast majority of the leaves look fine so I would pick-off any affected leaves and dispose of them in case it it a leaf-spot/shot-hole disease.  The RHS have some advice:

Thanks guy's. I think it is probably shot hole unfortunately. All the leaves are young as it came back from the dead after the snow and we've had no rain at all. I'm going to pick off all the affected leaves and take it from there. Thanks so much. If you can think of anything else I should be doing please let me know. Meanwhile happy gardening!

We thought we had lost our bay after the winter  We removed all dead and damaged leaves and fed.  It’s gradually coming back
