Own grown tomatoe problems

Hi can some  helpl me.   this is my first time growing tomatoes. I have beef steak and cherry tomatoes problem there around half way through there growing and this has  been the problem on the bottom of some tomatoes.  It's a lack of calcium i think .if so can i and how do i treat this problem now and can i have suggestions on what's the best too use immediately  if there is any please help.     Blossom end rot. It is caused by uneven watering, they get too dry , before getting wet again. Hard to prevent in this weather unfortunately. I've got it, my mum has it and the neighbour has it. Try watering twice a day instead of once. Pick off affected fruit and throw away. When weather conditions improve, the plants will produce better fruit.
