Hi I am a keen novice gardener with only container plants. Some of my plants have started to get yellow leaves could this be due to overwatering or are they lacking something - any suggestions what I can do to help?!

Make sure the potted plants are wet all through. Dunk them in a bucket of water once a week if you can. Very often, if a large pot gets dry, watering from the top doesn't work well, the water runs through. The first two with spots look like sunscorch on wet splashes. Water at night if possible, not in direct sunshine. Is the 3rd one a Magnolia? It needs a feed with an ericacous feed such as Miracle grow for acid lovers.
  • Yes it is a magnolia thanks I will get some Miracle grow. Will try dunking the others. Thanks for the help.
  • Hi just looking up miracle grow would you recommend liquid one or soluable one?!
