Dahlia ID Please

Just bought a few of these little orange Dahlias at my local GC, in amongst a load of others of varying colours, no cultivar name, clueless staff. Flowers are 6cm diameter, currently plant is 20cm high in 10cm pot. Anyone know what they are likely to be and how big they might grow?

They look like dwarf dahlias grown from seed each year for bedding out.  Something like Disco dancer mixed. Maximum height 2 ft.

I planted dahlias from seed last year, they have all come up again this year, much to my surprise........they are bushier and have more flowers too.

With seed grown dahlias, they usually form tubers, so you can pick the best and overwinter. If you have no room for overwintering, then seed raising is easy from a March start in gentle heat.

Great, thanks @fidgetbones it does look very like the orange disco dancer. Pleased they are only littlers, it’s to fill a gap at the front of a border, so good to know they won’t turn into humongous beasts!
