can you help identify. my neighbour has just cut this down, it came over our fence and it was the most gorgeous ‘borrowed landscape’ shrub. I would love to get one myself. It flowered in autumn/ winter pale coloured flowers pinky i think . Leaves evergreen it has purple colour to the leaf stems. The shrub was around 5-6 ft high a woody shrub too. I went on holiday and this was all that was left hence the crispy look. Any ideas, i have been hunting for it everywhere.
Many thanks

Mystery shrub appears to have alternate leaves.
