    I looked at one of the spammers and found that just the one had made 200+ posts so gave up any idea of flagging them

    I've reported some straight to the mods and a PM to Nora.  No point flagging as Spam.  Too many and takes 5 flags to get rid.

    Just think of all those poor students who've not done as well as their parents expected and need a good degree certificate to take back to China ... bless 'em.  ;)

    I wonder if it might be students to blame? Lots of mention of  various Universities in the posts - maybe some student hackers' pranks?

    No ... they're trying to sell fake degree certificates to Chinese students who've not done as well at their foreign universities as their parents (who've paid out a lot of money) expected.

    That would be spectacularly stupid students - not only too dim to get a 2.1, and that takes some doing these days, but also to think that to get out of their predicament they’ll find salvation on a gardening site.
