Something has invaded my agapanthus in this pot. It looks like a rice plant to me. Any ideas please?

  Yes I think that's millett ... do you feed the birds nearby?

  Thanks. I do feed the birds, do you think that's where it came from? Would you feed the mature grain to the birds or would that mean it would spring up everywhere?
