Hey guys im looking to buy a rambling rose to train up my shed but unsure of the best type to get. I saw on Gardner's world monty was showing his White wedding rose off but id like some suggestions and places i could get one from.
His rose is called 'Wedding Day'... it's somewhat rampant suitable for growing into trees, as I think Mr Don has it, and with a citrus like scent, and loads of round orange hips in winter but blooms only in summer for a few short weeks. Is that what you want?
One classic I like is Dorothy Perkins. it gives a full show of small pink flowers once a year. Few roses are perpetual flowering, but many modern roses are repeat flowering if you cut of the seed heads. David Austin is a good site for learning - but quite expensive (yet good quality). Do you want scented?
