Is it too late to trim branches of blueberry bush?

I have a young blueberry plant which I was not expecting to grow berries until at least next year so it has never been pruned at all.  It must be all the hot weather that we have had which has resulted in berries on it now.  I understand that the berrries need the sun on them to ripen so should I cut off a few of the non berry bearing leaves and off shoots that are keeping some of the berries in the shade or just leave it alone?

No need to do anything to blueberries for the first few years.  If conditions are good enough for fruit to form, they will be good enough for it to ripen naturally. :)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
