Need Help with the Name of this plant

Hi all, I'm new to the Gardening world, and am enjoying every minute. I was always told this is a Fuchsia. It has represented my Mum for a long time. We lost my Mum in 2005, so trying to find out what plant this is would mean alot. Hope you can help. Happy Gardening Everyone. Big Hugs.

    I think that's a Weigela
Certainly doesn't look like any Fuchsia I've ever seen, but happy to be proved wrong. :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Weigela for me too.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Could it be a Phlox bit late for Wiegela to be in flower? I’m probably wrong, usually am🤭
