Wedding help

Hi I’m getting married early next May and we are thinking of putting flower seeds into the favour boxes. We are looking at lasting reminders off our wedding day so would obviously want biannual flowers.  Any suggestions?? The colour scheme is burgundy.

Lovely idea  :)  Have a lovely wedding  :dizzy:

Think you'll want perennial seeds ... biennials take two years to flower and then die ... not really the right message for a marriage  ;)   Periennials come back year after year after year ....  that's more appropriate.

Aquilegia Swan comes in a lovely burgundy and white combination and flowers in the early summer so should be about the right time of year ... and they're relatively straightforward to grow

    Perhaps

Penstemon 'Port Wine' or 'Ruby Port'

    Astrantia 'Burgundy Manor'

Geranium phaeum 'Taff’s Jester', 'Samboor' or 'Dusky Cranesbill'.
